January 7, 2018 at 12:35 pmHello, a message/question for Bill if that’s possible?
Hi Bill, As a huge Kubrick fan I have at least two of your posters framed up in my office and I was reading that you designed a full alphabet for the poster and titles of Barry Lyndon. You mentioned in an interview that it was still in use ‘by the trade’ and the article mentioned the name as ‘Timepiece’. Well, googling that Timepiece seems to be the typeface used in your Clockwork Orange poster so maybe the writer got things mixed up. So I was wondering then if such a typeface you created for Barry Lyndon still exists somewhere and if so, what it was called or any other info you might have. Thanks, appreciate your time (I hope this gets through to you). Your work is awesome .

September 6, 2018 at 11:26 pmThank you, Michael. So sorry that’s it’s taken so long to reply to your comment.
Yes, Bill designed both the lettering for A Clockwork Orange and Barry Lyndon. Unfortunately, I do not know what he named the fonts. However, I do have copies of those and many of the other typefaces he designed for many of his posters. Some he created full alphabets for, others just the title designs.

June 29, 2018 at 10:51 amHi Bill,
I was surprised to find your BEAUTIFUL and Lovely Painted “WIZ” poster – I’m a fan of the movie and was delighted such a thing existed, despite the reception it got and usually has.
Has that image ever been printed before?
is there anything you can tell me about that poster (what the blank spot was supposed to be, who did it, why Dorothy is all in pink, etc?)
Thank you
